For about 50 years dentists have been able to put
tooth colored fillings in your front teeth.
But until very recently these would only bond to the enamel. The enamel is
dead, but the dentin is living. And we could not get the fillings to stick
to the dentin until very recently.
If you have any old tooth colored fillings they are probably this kind.
They are not necessarily defective.
But when you have them replaced with the fully dentin bonded fillings you
will be getting a much more effective product. |
